Tell us a little about yourself!
Hello everyone! My name is Adriana Machado De Sousa. I am the younger of five children and a proud Latina born and raised in Brazil. I came to the U.S in 2006. Living in the U.S for many years has allowed me to know and learn about many cultures. My first language is Portuguese, but I also speak Spanish. I am attending San Francisco State University, majoring in Child and Adolescent- School Age, and minoring Criminal Justice.
What previous experience and/or interests made you want to join the Global Classroom?
I am currently working as a preschool teacher, and I have always loved to interact with children. During a meeting, Dr. Jae Paik invited me to participate in the Global Classroom project, which I accepted with joy. When I heard about the Global Classroom, I immediately thought it could be a great experience and opportunity to grow as a student.
What is the best aspect about working for the Global Classroom?
The best aspect of the Global Classroom is that it provides my peers and me the opportunity to contribute to our community. Global Classroom is an incredible tool for online education.
