Tell us a little about yourself!
Dr. Rodriguez received her Ph.D. in Child and Adolescent Development, Psychological Studies in Education from Stanford University in 2007. She Has served as an Assistant Professor and Faculty Lecturer in the School Psychology Program at SFSU and has more than 20 years of experience in educational and school systems in the U.S. She has been a part of several international exchange programs aimed at improving education around the world (especially for children in developing countries). She trains students at SFSU to work effectively with diverse populations of students here in the U.S. in fieldwork placements all around the Bay Area. Dr. Rodriguez has a great deal of practical and research experience aimed at promoting and delivering Social Emotional Learning (SEL) experiences and believes these same lessons can help support educators (e.g. stress management, professional development).
